Cooking and Craft
Since the inception of the Somerford Show, the exhibition tent has been a key attraction of show day.
Each year there are hundreds of hand made entries across a wide variety of classes, including:
- Needlework and Knitting
- Arts
- Photography
- Cooking and Baking
- Flower Arranging
Children’s classes are split across four age ranges (5 and under; 8 and under; 11 and under; 16 and under) and include a variety of items across arts, crafts, baking, modelling and flower arranging.
All classes are always keenly contested across all generations!

FAQ
When do I need to enter by?
All entries must be in by 5pm THURSDAY 8th AUGUST 2024
When do I need to bring my exhibit to the exhibition tent?
All exhibits to be brought to the tent between 8am and 10am on Saturday 13th August
When can I collect my entries?
Entries can be collected after the DRAW at approx.. 5pm
How many times can I enter?
You can enter as many classes as you would like.
Please note: No Exhibitor will be allowed more than one prize in any one class and can enter no more than 3 entries in a class.
Can I try again with a previous entry?
No Exhibits to be shown that have previously been shown at Somerford Show.
