Since the inception of the Somerford Show, the exhibition tent has been a key attraction of show day.
Each year there are hundreds of locally grown entries across a wide variety of classes, including: Fruit, Vegetables, Floral and Agricultural. The Horticultural Section has two Divisions, one for local villagers and one for the wider community.
The classes are always keenly contested with huge pride at stake, even the ‘Weirdest Looking Fruit or Vegetable’!

Entering
To enter, please download the entry form below and complete. Entries must be received by 20.00 on Thursday 7th August 2025.

When do I have to enter by?
Entry forms must be received by 8pm on Thursday 7th August 2025.
Please note that this is forms only, not actual produce / exhibits!
Where do I submit my entry forms?
Members of the Committee will attend at the Volunteer Inn at Great Somerford on Monday 4th August 2025 between the hours of 19.00 – 20.00 to receive entry forms. Alternatively, entry forms can be emailed, posted or delivered to the Committee, to arrive no later than 20.00 on Thursday 7th August 2025.

When do I have to deliver my produce and exhibits by?
All produce / exhibits must be brought to the Show Ground Tent between 08:00 and 10:30 on Show Day (Saturday 9th August 2025).
Please do not deliver produce with your entry forms!
What are the rules for entry?
All the rules are included within the entry forms.
When can I collect my entry after the show?
Entries need to remain in the exhibition tent until at least 17:30
